A graduate of Miami University, Becky Catino served as the president of Security National Automotive Acceptance Corp for 25 years. Also the chair of a local chapter of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Becky Catino is currently a board of trustees member of her alma mater, Ursuline Academy.
Founded in 1896 by the Ursuline Sisters of Brown County, Ohio, Ursuline Academy has been in its present location for more than 40 years. A four-year women’s independent Catholic high school, the academy was built on the tenets of values, vision, and voice through academic and personal excellence. Open to eighth grade students who pass its placement test and have a qualifying middle school academic record, Ursuline Academy follows the Merici Model, which emphasizes a student-centered approach to education and gives each student and teacher a personalized schedule.
Apart from their studies, students are encouraged to participate in other parts of campus life, such as performing arts, multicultural activities, campus ministry events, and student activities. Its clubs are open to any interested student and are organized around topics such as global affairs and entrepreneurship, among others.
