Becky Catino is co-founder and former chief executive officer of Security National Automotive Acceptance Corporation located in Macon, Ohio. A philanthropic individual, Becky Catino serves as a board chair for the Cincinnati Council of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic organization originally founded in 1833. The society began in Paris where student Frederic Ozanam and his colleagues went person-to-person to help minister to the poor. They believed that Christ would be revealed through their care and compassion. Since its inception, the organization has grown to include members in 150 countries. The Cincinnati Council reaches out to 120,000 people in the area each year.
To help it raise money in order to help those in need within the Cincinnati area, the organization sponsors annual events. One event is its Prescription Fore Fun Charitable Golf Outing, with the 2017 outing scheduled for July 31 at the Clovernook Country Club. Now in its tenth year, this golf outing benefits the organization’s charitable pharmacy, with every dollar raised providing eight dollars of prescription medications. The 2016 outing raised $200,000 worth of medicine.
