The president of Security National Automotive Acceptance Corp from 1985 through 2011, Becky Catino graduated from Miami University with a bachelor of science degree. Currently on the board of trustees of Ursuline Academy, Becky Catino also serves as the chair of her local Society of St. Vincent de Paul chapter.

Formally established in 1845, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is committed to helping those in need through local chapters and one-on-one services and programs. Also dedicated to addressing spiritual concerns, the society’s two-pronged approach is designed to lift the burdens of impoverished people.

In addition to volunteer work and its vehicle donation program, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul hosts an annual Friends of the Poor Walk. Originally founded to support special works projects of local chapters, the Friends of the Poor Walk now directly supports people impacted by poverty. In 2014 alone, more than 25,000 participants at almost 250 locations raised over $2.6 million.
